Teens come to Aquarion for a taste of water careers

Eighteen Bridgeport high school students got a taste of jobs available in the water industry this summer during a “boot camp” at Aquarion Water Company, where they performed some of the same daily tasks as Aquarion employees. Through those hands-on assignments and classroom sessions in key departments across the company, the teens learned about water science, the treatment process, and all other work involved in delivering high-quality drinking water.
