2012 Aquarion Environmental Champion Awards

Environmental Award Program Returns!

In keeping with Aquarion’s long-standing commitment to environmental quality and appreciation for volunteer efforts, last year we launched the Aquarion Environmental Champion Awards program. Dozens of nominations came in, and we honored four of the most outstanding volunteer projects for their contributions to improving Connecticut’s water, air, soils and wildlife habitat.

Adult, business and non-profit winners will be given a $2500 grant to pass on to the environmental non-profit of their choice. Students will receive a $1000 savings bond.
