Reviewed October 2005 Donald J. Morrissey Donald J. Morrissey was appointed Aquarion Company’s Vice President of Finance, effective September 1, 2003. Mr. Morrissey is responsible for Aquarion’s Treasury, Planning, Accounting and Risk Management endeavors. In April 2004, Mr. Morrissey assumed responsibilities for the Corporate Secretarial function. Formerly Aquarion Water Company’s Controller, Mr. Morrissey joined the Company in 1995. He has progressed through numerous financial area positions of increasing responsibility leading to his current leadership position with Aquarion Water - the largest investor owned water utility in New England and among the ten largest in the United States. Before joining Aquarion, Mr. Morrissey held the position of Manager of Financial Reporting and Consolidations at Reader’s Digest, Pleasantville, NY, after spending five years at Arthur Andersen, Stamford, CT. A graduate of New York University’s Stern School of Business, Mr. Morrissey holds a Masters in Business Administration in Finance and International Business. He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from the University of Connecticut. A Certified Public Accountant, Mr. Morrissey is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Morrissey is on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Water Companies New York Chapter, where he has served since 2002. He also serves as the Chairman of the National Association of Water Companies Finance, Accounting and Tax Committee. In addition, Mr. Morrissey is a member of the Board of Directors of the Bridgeport Economic Resource Council.
